The Trauma, Addiction, and Relationship Program (TARP) is a flexible program delivered on a weekly basis in group sessions. Intake is continuous and residents can begin the program upon arrival to the CRF. TARP is designed to offer support and guidance, present opportunities for deeper self-exploration, and provide tools that will assist residents in both their transition from incarceration to community living and their successful reintegration back into society.
TARP is facilitated by CRF counsellor Rob Ziegler.
Topics discussed in the program include:
· Addition and Recovery
· Trans-theoretical Model of Change
· Being a Man – The Concept of Modern Masculinity
· Violence and Aggression
· Grief, Sadness, and Loss
· Addiction and Self-Worth
· Impacts of Trauma and Abuse
One-on-one counselling services are provided one day per week at Activator CRF. Individual sessions are facilitated by CRF counsellor Rob Ziegler.
