ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR INDIVIDUALS UNDER CSC SUPERVISION
Admission is determined by a Screening Committee comprised of Prince George Activator Society staff, Parole Officers, a representative from the RCMP, and the Citizens' Advisory Counsel. Acceptance is based upon a risk/need assessment and the offender's level of effort in addressing his correctional plan. We accept Day Parole, Statutory Release with Residency, LTSO with Residency, and Work Release clients. Screening assessments are completed twice a month. All cases are considered for residency. Those showing an interest or desire to come to this region are encouraged to contact our facility on their own, through their Institutional Parole Officer (IPO), Indigenous Liaison Officer (ILO) or through a letter to our facility (contact us Here).
If an offender indicates a desire to reside at either Activators or 'Aghelh Nebun, a Community Assessment (CA) or Community Screening (CS) request needs to be forwarded to the Prince George Parole office, by way of their IPO.
We are always ready to receive phone calls, emails or letters if there are questions about our facilities or services or if there is a case that needs to be discussed prior to a CA or CS request. We are frequently in the institutions and can plan a visit for a specific offender if requested to discuss release planning.
